Lately, my weeks have been FULL. Fuller than I ever imagined when I started this journey back in the day.

And, of course, full of the everyday work of making sure guests feel welcomed and owners feel supported.

Life is full — and I am blessed. 💕

Sometimes when you’re busy doing the work, you don’t do such a great job of stopping to talk about the work.

So today, I’m trying to take my own advice.

I’m reflecting on the week behind me — celebrating what went well, learning from what didn’t, and reminding myself that progress doesn’t always show up in a perfectly curated Instagram feed.

Then I’m looking ahead.

What matters most this week?
Where can I make the biggest difference?
And what deserves a little more of my attention?

Because a new week doesn’t have to mean simply doing more. Sometimes it means being more intentional about what we choose to do.

I’ve walked into a lot of vacation rentals over the years.

Some are absolutely beautiful. Perfect furniture. Perfect décor. Perfect photos.

But the ones I remember most aren’t necessarily the prettiest ones.

They’re the ones that make you exhale a little when you walk through the door.

The ones where you immediately know where to put your things. Where there’s a comfortable place to curl up. Where someone thought about the coffee in the morning, the extra blanket at night, the kids who need something to do, or the guest who might need just a little more help feeling comfortable in an unfamiliar place.

Those details may seem small.

But together, they say something really important:

We thought about you before you got here.

That’s what hospitality means to me.
